Elementary Principal
Dear Commodore Families,
It is with great PRIDE and excitement that I write this letter of introduction as your newly appointed Principal of Perry Elementary School. As a 2006 Perry graduate, I am honored to have the opportunity to serve in the community I grew up in. I have been an educator in the Perry Local School District for the past 10 years. I am excited and eager to showcase my skills as an educational leader and look forward to partnering with you to ensure your child’s success.
Along with teachers and staff, I will work hard to ensure that Perry Elementary School remains the “heart of the community”. I look forward to building strong relationships with students, parents, families, and community supporters by engaging, interacting, and connecting with you through multiple avenues. Whether you are a fresh face to our district or one of several generations of Commodores, we WELCOME you and are excited to have you with us!
As we embark on a new school year, I want you to share with you my educational philosophy. I believe that all students can learn and achieve at high levels when provided with the appropriate supports. As educators, we must be willing to do whatever it takes...every day...for every student...to ensure this happens. I believe that this can be obtained by developing highly effective instructional leaders where collaboration will be valued. In order to increase student achievement, decisions will be data driven with a clear focus on every student’s success, and stakeholders will feel a sense of ownership in the school’s goals and mission. To read more about my educational beliefs, goals, and commitment to Perry Elementary, I invite you to read through my Principal Entry Plan found below.
Once again, I am honored to serve the Commodore family. It is truly a privilege to be part of a community where parents, teachers, and students care for each other, and strive to build positive relationships that support academic and personal success.
Yours in Education,
Lisa Henline
