Voters in the Perry Local School District will be asked to renew a five year operating levy at Nov. 3 election. It WILL NOT increase taxes.
The 4.9-mill would generate nearly $440,000 annually and fund school operating expenses, such as personnel, transportation, utilities and supplies. If approved, it also would help offset the loss of tangible tax dollars and recent cuts in the state's school-funding formula.
Perry Local Schools remains committed to spending tax dollars sensibly, ensuring the best for students and the community.
