OMER I. SCHROEDER, Superintendent
Perry Local Schools

Welcome to the Perry Local Schools.  For more than 30 years, it has been my honor and privilege to serve the Perry students and community.

The Perry Local Schools have a rich history of a small school setting that is uniquely diverse.  We have a rich history of strong family ties that are generational and newly born each day.

We teach the benefits of discipline, hard work, and responsibility.  We value honor and respect for the family, honesty and respect for authority.  These are a few of the values that make us a public school with a private school flair.

Over 800 students call Perry Local Schools their home school, and we take our responsibility to provide them with the highest quality experience very seriously.  The work our principals, teachers, students and staff do to accelerate teaching and learning in the classroom day in and day out is challenging and difficult, but we find the work rewarding.

We understand and appreciate fully the support of our community and our parents needed to realize all of our students' full potential.  We also celebrate our prudent and strong fiscal management coupled with the Board of Educations' dedication to providing the resources necessary to support a strong educational setting.

The Perry Local Schools Board of Education and I recognize that our primary focus must be on creating a high performing school district.  Our 2011 District State Report Card posted gains in many areas including some of our highest accomplishments to date.

We are looking to forge partnerships with families who will help us create a college going culture in Perry based upon high expectations, academic rigor and appropriate supports for students and families.  We are very proud of our school district and invite you to learn more about us.

Attention Commodores

Attention Commodore family, this is a very special message. One of our Perry high school girls was injured this summer when she sustained a severe head injury during an ATV accident on July 2nd. After many trips back and forth to the Columbus Hospital, her family has been able to bring her home this week. The reason for this message is a special request to help this family out financially. While our student's recovery is making great progress, her mother has had to stay home from work to give her care and attention 24 hours a day. Please click the link "You Can Help"  to help out our Perry family in financial need. Thank you for your help.
